Over the past 10 years Rock House II Ministries has been the proud sponsor of the Quad County Giveaway. This giveaway reaches out to over two hundred families monthly providing free clothes, small appliances, toys and other miscellaneous household items. There is no limit on the amount of items our "shoppers" can take. Each family is given a 30 gal. bag to fill with their "treasures". Although we ask for a two dollar donation if possible, we do not turn away anyone. All of these items are donated by area residents. Our volunteers sort, fold and arrange them in "rummage sale" fashion the days of our giveaways. We hold three giveaways each month ... the first Thursday in Cedar Lake, IN, the second Thursday in Thayer, IN and the third Thursday in Rensselaer, IN.
Food & Miscellaneous items are available at no cost to you.
